Ministerial order establishes Al-Rumaitha Private University

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research issued Ministerial Order No. 980 of 27 October 2026 approving the establishment of Al-Rumaitha Private University, with its three colleges and nine departments, from the 2026–2027 academic year.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani, issued Ministerial Order No. 980 of 27 October 2026 approving the establishment of Al-Rumaitha Private University, which holds its establishment licence under Council of Ministers Decision No. 569 of 2026, from the 2026–2027 academic year.

Under the order, the university comprises three colleges and nine departments:

College of Education: Arabic Language; History; Educational and Psychological Sciences.
College of Engineering Technology: Building and Construction Techniques; Power Mechanics; Laser and Optoelectronics Techniques.
College of Science: Pathological Analyses; Forensic Evidence; Medical Physics.
