Volunteering Division
Overview
The Volunteering Division channels the energy of students and staff who wish to serve the university and the community into initiatives with tangible impact. It fosters values of citizenship, solidarity and social responsibility among students.
Responsibilities
- Registering student and staff volunteers and organising them into teams.
- Launching clean-up, tree-planting and campus beautification campaigns.
- Organising blood donation drives and health and awareness campaigns.
- Carrying out humanitarian initiatives to help families and groups in need.
- Supporting events and seasons that need volunteers, in coordination with the bodies concerned.
- Recording volunteer hours and awarding certificates of appreciation to volunteers.
