Overview
The Grounds and Gardens Unit looks after the campus's open spaces, including gardens, walkways and courtyards, keeping them clean, green and pleasant for students, staff and visitors. It helps give the university a welcoming appearance.
Responsibilities
- Planting, watering, pruning and tending gardens and green spaces.
- Keeping courtyards, walkways and open areas clean.
- Proposing and carrying out campus beautification projects.
- Maintaining irrigation systems, benches and lighting in open spaces.
- Preparing the grounds for university events and ceremonies.
